COURSE OVERVIEW

The Commercial Pilot Certificate allows pilots to fly for compensation or hire and is a key step toward a professional aviation career.

At RL Aviation, students build on their previous training and develop advanced flight skills, including precision maneuvers, complex aircraft operations, and professional-level decision making.

Training includes one-on-one flight instruction, structured ground lessons, and real-world flight experience designed to prepare students for commercial aviation standards.

This certification opens the door to opportunities such as flight instruction, charter operations, and other aviation careers.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Hold a Private Pilot Certificate


  • Hold an Instrument Rating


  • Be at least 18 years old


  • Be able to read, write, and speak English


  • Have a valid FAA Medical Certificate


  • Complete required flight hours for certification


  • Pass the FAA written knowledge exam


  • Pass the FAA oral and practical examination
